Commonly Asked Question
What should i wear? What should I bring?
We invite you to come as you are or however you feel comfortable. On a typical Sunday some will be dressed in jeans and t-shirts while others may wear business attire. If you own a Bible, bring it with you. If you don't have one, we would love to give you one. Our pastors use, and all Scripture readings are from, the English Standard Version of the Bible but feel free to use one you are comfortable with.
What is a typical service like?
Our Sunday morning services begin with a call to worship from scripture. From there we read and corporately affirm certain historical creeds and confessions in line with our faith. We spend time singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, praying for our church and for others, and confessing our sins. Our sermons typically last anywhere from 40-50 minutes and our services conclude with the Lord’s Supper.
Is there a nursery? What do I do with My kids?
During our Equipping Class hour at 9:30AM a nursery and age appropriate classes are available for kids 0 to 13 years of age. All other children are welcome and encouraged to be a part of the adult equipping class.
During the service we intentionally refrain from offering any kind of childcare as we believe it is to the benefit of the children, parents, and entire church that all should sit under the preaching of the word of God. We are not bothered by loud or crying children, rather we find them a comfort and a reminder of the kindness and blessing of God.
There is a private room for nursing mothers who still wish to view the service and we keep our nursery room open for parents who need to take their kids out of the service.
